Notice for MPhil/PhD Admission (2025)
Mid-West University, Graduate School of Management announces admissions for the MPhil and PhD programs in Management for the academic session 2025.
Eligibility for Applying to MPhil Program:
Applicants with a Master’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution with a GPA of at least 2.50 on a 4.00 scale (or equivalent grade) or at least 50% marks are eligible if they have a minimum of two years of post-master’s degree work experience.
Applicants with a Master’s degree in a relevant field with a GPA of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale (or equivalent grade) or at least 60% marks may apply if they have at least one year of post-master’s degree work experience.
Applicants with a master’s degree in a relevant field and a GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale (or equivalent grade) or at least 80% marks are eligible to apply without work experience.
Eligibility for Applying to PhD Program:
Applicants with an MPhil degree in a relevant subject from a recognized institution with a GPA of at least 2.50 on a 4.00 scale (or equivalent grade) or at least 50% marks are eligible if they have at least two years of post-MPhil degree work experience.
Applicants with an MPhil degree in a relevant subject and a GPA of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale (or equivalent grade) or at least 60% marks may apply if they have one year of post-MPhil degree work experience.
Applicants with an MPhil degree in a relevant subject and a GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale (or equivalent grade) or at least 80% marks are eligible to apply without any post-MPhil degree work experience.
Application Process:
Interested candidates should visit the official Mid-West University websites, mu.edu.np or muodgsm.edu.np, to download the application form and find program details. Submit completed applications to the Office of the Dean, Graduate School of Management, Mid-West University, either in person or by email. Along with the application form, applicants must include:
MPhil: Statement of Purpose (Within 1,000 words)
PhD: Dissertation Proposal Synopsis (3,000 words)
Course Complete Fees: NPR 1,64,000
Course Duration: 18 months
Bank voucher for NRs. 1,000 for application fee deposited at Nepal Bank Limited, A/C Name: GRADUATE SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT DEAN'S OFFICE (INCOME ACCOUNT), A/C No.: 19400107321492000003.
